Slaves of power

How to produce and conserve energy?

Students learn about the possibilities of hydroenergy and its historical significance. They plan and create a model of a hydroelectric power plant, in which the energy stored in water is calculated, and the power and efficiency of the plant are evaluated. This leads to discussion about the sustainable and efficient energy consumption.

Subjects: mathematics, geography, natural sciences, technology, arts, history, social studies
